Update as of 9/29/14

Good Morning All! I just wanted to write a quick update on D. She recovered quickly from her last round of chemo. We didn't even need to go to Madison for a blood or platelet transfusion this time! So we have actually had 2 and a half weeks at home with no trips to Madison. We have been spoiled! We have been making some awesome memories as a family these past few weeks. With Lainey feeling good we were able to get out and do some fun things together and we all needed that. Tomorrow night we head back down to Madison for an early morning PET and CT scan on Wednesday morning. This really won't mean much to us, it is basically for the surgeon's use for her surgery next week. It will be his updated road map for her lung surgery. It will be interesting to compare it to the last PET and see what's changed. Lainey's arm is healing nicely, the stitches are starting to come out and she has been utilizing it to hold things again so the tenderness must be gone. She doesn't need to keep the dressing on it anymore, but she likes to. I think once the stitches are all out she will be fine without it, they look kind of funky so she doesn't like to look at them. Other than that we are all doing well. We have had a fun weekend of celebrating Max's birthday, tomorrow he turns 9! Can't believe he is halfway to adulthood! I will update after we get scan results from Wednesday, but I am sure there won't be much to report. Thanks again for all the prayers, we are honored to have them.
